Das Projekt HOTEL BUENAVIDA vereint ein vielfältiges Ensemble aus drei erfahrenen Musikern, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein können. Hernan Brando stammt aus Argentinien, lebt allerdings seit etlichen Jahren bereits in Italien. Er ist Sänger, Komponist und Schauspieler. Er spielte für Papa Ratzinger in Vaticano, gab Konzerte für Amnesty International und unterstützt das Festival Evangelium. Dario “Tango” Tanghetti ist ein Virtuose auf dem Gebiet der Percussions. Er war Teil der Band von Whitney Houston, als diese während der Olympischen Winterspiele 2006 in Turin auftraten und nahm auch an der Realisierung von "Il cosmo sul como" -Soundtrack des berühmten italienischen Komiker -Trio Aldo Giovanni & Giacomo - teil.

Pino Di Pietro ist Musiker und Komponist und hat Erfahrung von mehr als zwanzig Jahren im Musik Business. Seit langer Zeit arbeitet er mit dem bekannten italienischen DJ und Musik Produzenten Joe T Vannelli zusammen.Trotz ihrer musikalisch unterschiedlichen Herkunft, teilen die drei eine wichtige Gemeinsamkeit: Sie leben für die Musik! Mit ihrem neuen Album „The Ultimate Nu Latin Project“ (VÖ: 13.08.2010) liefern Hotel Buenavida Songklassiker großer Musiker wie Level 42, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Al Green, Brian Ferry uvm, und gleichzeitig zwei bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks aus der eigenen Feder. Die erste Single „Hey Ya“ ist eine Neuauflage des Top Ten Hits von Outkast aus dem Jahr 2003. Hotel Buenavida interpretieren den Song auf ihre ganz eigene Weise und machen aus demursprünglich soulig angehauchten Song eine sehr entspannte Nummer zumzurücklehnen und relaxen.

Kittball returns with a release from its label heads, Tube & Berger. The German duo deliver their next club smash in the form of 'Kreidler Flory'. Jackin', filthy, tech beats work together with the heaviest of basslines to produce a track with a real San-Fran'esque 'stomp'. Crazy vocal stabs
and gigantic snare-filled breakdown make this a secret summer weapon.
On remix duty the boys have drafted in Defected and Cr2 artist, Tapesh. Giving the track a deeper feel, Tapesh opens with deep throbbing keys. Soon
though the pace hots up as the vocals and abrasive synth stabs all work together to power the track along.

Starting the New Year off with a complete transformation is what Europe’s leading download platform for electronic music has achieved with the impressive re-launch of its web presence. The launch itself wasn’t made much fuss of, but it couldn’t have happened at a more interesting time. Only a few days ago, the largest and last German ‘vinyl only’ distributor DMD closed for good and at the end of November, the UK’s largest dance download platform DJDownload went into administration and was taken over by Junodownload (UK).

After the purchase of iLike by MySpace and three months later, the confirmation of the consolidation of Imeem into MySpace Music, it seemed like market takeovers and buyouts were occurring on a regular basis in the digital market. Even the acquisition of the streaming service Lala by none other than Apple has been causing a stir and topped the headlines in the music press over the past weeks. Not only using the dynamics in the music market to comprehensively and extensively prepare for its re-launch, Djtunes also utilized the DJ elite in the redevelopment of its website. Personal preferences and suggestions were taken into consideration, and through early testing by such names as Tom Novy, Fedde le Grand, Umek and Chris Liebing, Djtunes was able to receive positive reactions from all over the dance music scene.

The new interface is a quantum leap for Djtunes and its more than 100.000 users. Next to the significantly simplified usability aspect and the clean layout of the content based design, the performance of the site is notably high. “The trend for the development of modern web applications is broken down to this: Less is more. Simplicity and performance are significant factors to ensure a strong presence among our competitors” says Thimo U. Seidel, founder and CEO of Djtunes. “That is why we concentrated intuitively on simplicity, user friendliness and usability during the development of the new portal. As a result, we increased the length of our user’s visits by more than 60%, while shortening things such as search queries and load times by at least 80%. Our users interact with the interface more like a local software application than a normal website.” says Seidel.

With the help of various filters and detailed views, it is possible to display practically all of the electronic dance music content the world has to offer within seconds. The figures are impressive: Momentarily, over 12.000 labels and over 100.000 DJs and producers are presenting their work on Djtunes. Users can still obtain their preferred content and every high quality DRM free Mp3 after only 2-3 mouse clicks - Even despite the fact, that after taking a look at the Google index, it shows that over 3 million individual landing pages have been recorded.

A special highlight on the site is the new player, which is used to preview titles and playlists. The complete catalogue of over 850.000 tracks can be played in full length CD quality with the player. Simply by moving the cue pointer across the track’s waveform, users can quickly select what part of the track they want to listen to and get to what matters most: The Music they want to listen to.

Next to comprehensive detailed and visual views, users also have the chance to upload and present their own music, playlists, images and videos. The integration of web services such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube invite to participate – Making Djtunes the main meeting place for all dance music fans.
